Due to diet and a genetic disposition, gout runs in my family.But by modifying my diet and lifestyle and using the correct medication when required, my brother and I can control the vagaries of this form of arthritis.

Gout is essentially due the following sequence.First, organic compounds called purines are digested which occur in many forms of food.An excess of the "wrong" foods like tomatoes sardines,herring, some forms of mushrooms and sadly beer etc all have a high levels of purines and these then breakdown to uric acid which, if in excess, build up as deposits in areas like your extremities, and especially in the big toes.

This leads up to the arthritis and the swelling which appears in this video.

Now there are several medicines on the market at the moment, some which have side effects which are possibly more damaging than gout attacks themselves.At some stage soon I will finish reviewing a product I have found which is quite efficient at doing the following.It appears to be metabolizing the purines I eat very quickly and at the same time blocks the enzyme involved in uric acid production.But the main effect I think is most interesting is that this product reduces inflammation quite rapidly.

But the contents uf this medicine differ in many respects to others far more toxic.When My brother first came home after a bad gout attack and a visit to his doctor I told him I could guess what the doctor said.I told him the doctor said he could eat and drink anything he liked, and just take this expensive medication.I was told this is exactly what the doc had said.!

So, I quickly googled the products name with the + side effects.And you should have seen the "side effects".They included hair loss,sex hormone interference,kidney problems etc..I forced my brother to throw the junk away.To think that a medical doctor would not even suggest a change in diet for a start.Regarding the "side effects",In actual fact, there is no such thing as a side effect, all drugs have effects good or bad.

But, back to my story, the "drug" we have tested and achieved some pretty good results with has no chemicals in it but combinations of herbs which work together.Yes, they are chemicals of a sort but they are a safer and cheaper alternative than expensive and quite lethal prescription drugs.

The wonder product is called Flamasil but it will not work its magic unless you watch your diet carefully.!!
